The Mermaid’s Sister

Mia is cousin to Olivia, the duchess of Venice; a ruler loved by her subjects for her command of magic and for saving the city from the flood. But Mia harbours a secret hatred of Olivia - her brother and mother were banished by the princess years before, and Mia has never forgiven her. Determined to ignore the powerful magic that is part of Olivia's reign, Mia finds herself lonely and isolated - until the appearance of Ara, a mergirl who may just hold the key to Venice's victory against the deadly Talish invaders...

We Are Giants

Sydney thinks her mother Amy is the best mom in the world--even if she is a bit . . . different from other kids' parents. As Amy explains it, when she was a girl she got to 48 inches tall and then stopped growing right there.

It's the perfect height, in Sydney's opinion: big enough to reach the ice cream at the supermarket, but small enough to be special. Anyway, Sydney's big sister Jade is always there to help out with the stuff on the highest shelves. And though Sydney's dad died when she was only five, she's never felt alone or that there isn't enough love to go around.

But when they are forced to move to another neighbourhood, things get more difficult for their little family. Sydney and Jade have to get used to different routines, make a whole new set of friends, and deal with the bullies at their new school.

And then there's the whole business of growing up. But Sydney doesn't want to grow up--not if it means getting taller than her mom.

The Midnight Panda

James doesn't like night-time. When the lights go out, strange shadows appear in his room, and who knows what's under his bed! His big sister tells him they're nothing to be scared of, but James is not so sure. But when one of the shadows turns into a big, friendly panda, James realizes that maybe the dark isn't so bad after all.

Percy Jackson the trials of Apollo:

The Hidden Oracle

How do you punish an immortal?

By making him human.

After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disorientated, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus's favour.

But Apollo has many enemies—gods, monsters and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go... an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.
